His strategic vision and planning skills led him to become the Chief Information Officer for IT and Facility Management Operations at Deloitte.
Erik is perhaps best known for his work on The Edge building in Amsterdam for Deloitte, even after 10+ years in operation cited as one of the smartest and most sustainable buildings in the world.
As the Chief Technology Officer for EDGE Technologies, he was instrumental in developing the first commercial smart building platform based on Microsoft's Azure Digital Twin technology. (Deloitte's internal Edge platform using IoT/AI and Power BI was not meant for commercial purposes)
